In honor of Butterfly Swords week, I’m giving away not one, but two copies of this book. You can win one here or at http://historicalnovelreview.blogspot.com.
All I’m asking is:
1. You follow this blog and Jeannie Lin’s blog.
2. Let me know why you’re interested in Butterfly Swords.
Good luck, everyone!
(I’m going to ask for U.S. competitors only this time, due to the cost of shipping.)
I want to enter the contest for Butterfly Swords. Hope this is the right place. I follow both your blog and hers.
I have always been interested in Asian culture. My grandmother was an artist and she taught me about Japanese gardens and we had a big book about Tan dynansy pottery. Later on, I took a three week tour of China and was so sad when it was over that I cried going back to the states. I took chinese zither lessons and was introduced to my future husband by my music teacher. We want to back to China to meet his cousins and see where his parents are born. Also I have learned some Mandarin and love reading history. I would really love to read 'Butterfly Swords'. I
know the art of the Tang Dynasty but not much of the history of the period. I am hoping to absorb some of the flavor of that time.
Thank you for this giveaway.

You bet, Carol! I've put your name into the drawing, which will be finished in just a few minutes.
I love how you've always had a fascination for the subject! That's awesome. I've always enjoyed Chinese stuff in particular, but haven't really done much with that love until the past twenty years.
