Launch of Escaping the Tiger

“Escaping the Tiger” packed Reading Reptile Bookstore with 250+ for the book’s launch party Saturday night! Partiers showed up for a signed copy of the book including yours truly. The cookies, fudge, and Laotian food was an attractive bonus, but they didn’t last. I guarantee this book will stick with you.

I read the first six chapters Saturday night and if I hadn’t had to be alert Sunday, I would have continued reading until I was done. It’s that good.

I’ll be back in a day or three with a finished review and then an author interview!

Exciting news! Where was the launch party? I've never been to one of those.

    Congratulations Laura! So exciting.

It was at the Reading Reptile Children's bookstore in Kansas City, MO. It's a great bookstore. You can't see it in the picture, but there are paper mache animals from children's books hanging from the ceiling. I saw many paper and people friends the other night. LOL

Janet, was that you on Flogging yesterday? If so, thanks for checking it out!

It was a marvelous party. I'm having to sneak bits of chapter in here and there and I just want to SIT and READ. ARGH!

    Awesome, Victoria.

I've never been to a launch party. And doubt that I ever will due to my location. I'll just have to live vicariously through you.

Thanks for reporting on the event, as well as providing me with another book to add to my must read list!

I hope you find time soon to finish.
