Changes Are A-Comin’

I had an epiphany this morning, thought I can’t say it hasn’t been a long time in coming. It has. There will soon be changes to this website in preparation for the next phase in my career. I don’t want to go into too much detail yet as I know how I work and recognize that this will probably take longer than I want it to. However, I will say I intend to launch something new and say goodbye to something old this year. I dislike changes, but I think it will be for the best and it has become a resolution.

What about you? Have you made any resolutions? Do you intend to?

I can't wait for the changes. Glad your career is advancing too. I just have the regular old resolutions. Lose weight, get into shape and what not.

  3. Giora says:

Best wishes, Victoria, with the new format of your blog when it'll be ready. And many happy news for you and your family in 2012.

Hello! I came across this blog by reading about submitting graphic novels. Your comment underneath was really useful, recommending 'making comics' etc. I'll read up on it all and give it a go, even though I'm still not sure I know what I'm doing. Thanks!

    I'm dying of curiosity!

I hope to get going soon on all my various projects, but I'm feeling ill today. My resolution is to fight through it!

  6. Natalie Aguirre says:

Sounds like you've got some awesome changes. Can't wait to hear them.

Wow. Blogger is seriously hacking me off. There are six responders and I just received my first email notification.

Nothing too terribly exciting (yet), Lisha.

I've got those, to a lesser degree, Mark. They should probably be to a greater degree. *__*

Thanks, Giora! May we all have good news this year!

I saw your comment, Madeleine. I'm so happy I said something useful to someone. LOL Thanks for dropping by to visit!

Oh, I'm so sorry you're feeling crummy, Barbara Ann. That stinks. I've had a nice enough, productive day, I'll share it with you. ;D I hope you feel better soon! (And there's no need to die of curiosity, btw. For one thing, as I mentioned, I move SLOWLY. LOL)

I HOPE they'll be awesome changes, Natalie. If nothing else, I believe they'll be healthy changes for me. πŸ™‚

Never been one for resolutions as they are broken before tax refunds are mailed. Instead, I set goals. This is a year of change for us. Lots and lots of change. I'm at a place in my life where I'm actually excited about it. Hope I can still say that in December of 2012.

  9. Victoria Dixon says:

I agree, Dawn and if it makes you feel better, we'll call this a goal. I normally don't set "resolutions" in the typical way as I know I won't meet them. LOL This one, the planning is already underway. πŸ˜€

  10. Rachna Chhabria says:

No resolutions, other than to write a lot this year. Best wishes, Victoria.

  11. DWei says:

Sounds exciting. My blog could use some changes, seriously, it looks way too plain.

  12. Victoria Dixon says:

Yes, I plan on writing another novel this year and submitting both my last novel and short stories. In fact, I'm inaugurating this month with at least two submissions: the novel will go out on query to at least one agent and two contests. I know some of you are far more prolific than this, but I haven't submitted to anything in quite awhile, so it's a big deal for me. LOL

But your blog IS fun to read, DWei, so that's a positive.

  13. Margo Berendsen says:

Oh, just leave me hanging in suspense!

  14. Victoria Dixon says:

Sorry, Margo! If it's any consolation, I'm in suspense, too. πŸ™‚
