The Latest From Nathan

Yup, Nathan Bransford’s done it again. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you obviously haven’t read his site today. There’s a new contest up and you have until tomorrow afternoon at four to enter.

Sigh. It’s allergy season. Medicine has failed. Again. I want to go poke holes in my head and not think about this right now. LOL

Addendum: I’m so sorry! The deadline is THURSDAY June 3rd.

Sadly, I don't have a suspenseful scene ready in my WiP. But are you entering? If you are, I'm crossing my fingers and wishing you lot of luck!

And I hope you'll feel better soon. Allergy is such a terrible thing. 🙁

I had my suspicions that by "suspense" he meant "suspense novel," which mine isn't. So I used an action scene instead (which I've got plenty of). I submitted earlier this afternoon. However, if I've said anything to change your mind, you have an hour and twenty five minutes to spiff up an entry. He's on west coast time. ;D Thanks!

Hi Victoria…All the best with your entry. As my MG WIP is humorous unfortunately I can't enter.
Hope your allergy is better now!

  4. Victoria Dixon says:

Well, the good news for you is, humor sells well. ;D Thanks for the luck. I think I'll need it. By the time I submitted, there were over 200 other applicants!

God, isn't he just great? I loved the post he had today (Friday)–his clients are just as witty as he is! I don't think that he'd be a good agent for what I want to produce, but I'd like to have someone like him.

Also, I just can't write suspense, hehe.

@Rachna good luck! I love myself a good humor novel.

Hey Victoria…do let us know how it goes for you in the contest.
By the way I have mentioned and thanked you in my blog 'The Lonely Life of an Indian Writer.'
Each of you (blogging friends) has helped me in one way or another.
